"I stayed with Simon and Catherine in Hull for a couple of nights whilst I was attending a training course and they are very welcoming and charismatic. Even with my arrivinal being fairly late in the evening -around 9pm- I was given a lovely tour of the place. The house is light and spacious, with the rooms decorated in an eclectic mixture of styles, each with their own character. You can feel the pride the hosts take in their home, and with great reason. I was even upgraded to a larger suite upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise. I could've spent all day chatting with Simon about music, fitness and art, my only regret is that I didn't stay long enough to!"

"Simon is a friendly helpful host who is always available if you need him. His house is unique for the area, a huge home with an amazing garden you e got to see. The top 3 rooms are like a classic B&B style, with a small shared kitchen which was perfect for me working away from home. The best bit is there is a proper gym, sauna, darts board, boxing bag & genuine pub pool table in the basement. Absolutely perfect for me. Was very happy staying there. It’s 2-1 to me against Simon at pool. To be continued. 😆🎱"

"My stay with Simon & Catherine was most welcoming, anything needed was at hand. Lovely room with a private bathroom to use. Kitchen facilities were everything needed was at hand. Quiet location with use of a large back garden. Very friendly and other guests very friendly too. Would recommend a stay, everything was simple. "Excellent stay and would highly recommend. Hosts were away when I checked in but were at the end of the phone for any questions. Great to have a kitchen space and downstairs games room. They even did my laundry for me and offered me a lift to the station. Great value for money."
